ruhaniyat artists

An ensemble of artists from all across the world.

In Mumbai, beside our Indian carriers of living traditions, this year once again we have two international productions i.e. an Indo–Belgian production (When hearts connect) and an all new edition of the Mystic Pathways series.

The Indo-Belgian production features the Louvat brothers (Steve Louvat, Michel Vrydag & Jeffery Cardey) with Mukhtiyar Ali who specializes in singing the works of Meera and Kabir.

The Mystic Pathways series this year unfolds a fascinating journey from Siberia to Turkey Via Tibet featuring a unique duo called 2 Siberians with Tibetan monks.

In the Indian segment we present for the very first time Banaras ki Rishikayen - a path breaking all girls group that excels in chanting ancient vedic mantras, Sopanam from Kerala, Works of Meera & Kabir, Unsung mystics of Sindhi Saraiki, Shabad and of course, as always, each day will conclude with power packed performances of Qawwali.

Ruhaniyat 2016-17 will also feature Nohon Shumarov from Altai mountains, Mongolia; Mamadou Diabate from Burkina Faso, Singers from Central Asia, and from India we have a long list including Mukhtiyar Ali, Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, Sawan Khan, Avadhoot Gandhi, Abdul Rashid Hafiz, Prahlad Singh Tipaniya, Parvathy Baul, Ashupreet Kaur and others.
